It was the Monday before the CMA Music Festival was scheduled to kick0ff, and time for the  2nd Annual Lonestar & Friends Strike Out for ST Jude.

This fundraising event had 30 celebrity team captains, and 4 fans got to bowl on each team for 1 game, than another group of 4 would get to bowl.

The event has a a bbq dinner, which was before the bowling, and an auction of celebrity items, including each bowling shirt from the celebrity team captains.

Along with regulars Buddy Jewell & Jimmy Wayne, this year American Idol winner Carrie Underwood was going to be bowling.

No one was surprised how much media attention Carrie was receiving before and during the game.

While I wasn't picked to bowl with Carrie, I was able to stay on the main floor with the bowlers etc, while the non-bowling fans watched from behind the bowling circle wall.

I was even more thrilled when somehow I was able to get a picture with Carrie. Carrie has a wonderful sense of humor, and was just as sweet as could be..especially considering how many directions she's being pulled.
