I just got off the phone with Seth Rogen, and you'd never know he's a big movie star. He's very relaxed and fun, and just seems like the guy next door who'd be fun to hang out with.
He's promoting the upcoming TV special, Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space (he voices the gelatinous B.O.B.), airing on NBC Wednesday, Oct. 28, 8 p.m. ET. He wasn't sure whether he'd be dressing up for Halloween, since he has to work at 6 a.m. the next morning (The Green Hornet is filming). But said maybe it's a blessing in disguise.
"I have a girlfriend now, and I've entered the unfortunate world of paired costuming, which is not fun. I don’t recommend it. I always end up being the lamer half of the costume. It's like she's a dog, and I'm a fire hydrant. So maybe I'm dodging a bullet this year."
But that doesn't apply to the costume they had a few years ago -- Doc and Marty from Back to the Future. "That was one of my favorites," he said.
