So as we read that she will perform one of the 2 concerts leading up to the Superbowl in Miami, Rihanna remains super hot.  We've learned she is with a new man Los Angeles Dodger outfielder Matt Kemp.  It is clear she is finally putting Chris Brown in her rear view mirror.

I like to look back to the time I got to spend with Rihanna.  It was as her career was just starting to heat up.  I met her during a radio promo tour for "A Girl Like Me' her 2nd album which featured hits "SOS" & "Unfaithful."

She entered the studio, even waited for the on-air light to turn off.  Which in radio, that light outside the door illuminates when the talent is speaking, when that light goes off, it's an all clear to enter. I thought it was cool she was thoughtful enough to wait as opposed to people who usually ignore the meaning of the light.  She entered with a wonderful island scent.  Her perfume was amazing and I even remarked "we aren't gonna wash this place ever because it smells amazing!"

Rihanna was a generally sweet girl and simply stunning.  But she was also very into music.  She is from Barbados, and had just moved to Los Angeles but had a grasp on the American music scene and it seemed like she did whatever she needed to do to not just appear as another pretty faced one-hit wonder.  It's safe to say that Rihanna is a force in music in this generation.  Anytime her name is attatched to a song, it gets instant attention.
