The Radio Gods had called upon me for yet another mission. This adventure would be filled with action, and all for a good cause. At my radio station, we had a promotion going on, in which a listener could bid on a guitar signed by a famous musician, with all of the procedes going to a different charity every month!

 I had worked out with my rep at Reprise Records, a signed guitar from the band Disturbed. All I needed to do was bring the guitar to Columbus Crew stadium in Columbus, Ohio, and meet with her and the band to have it signed!

 I was stoked about this show!! STP were reuniting, and I would get to meet Disturbed!!! Little did I know, that I would have a close encounter with an artist, who in my mind blows both STP and Disturbed out of the water! While at the show, I was waiting back stage. Emily, my girlfriend was with me. We had around 45 minutes before Disturbed would sign the guitar. My wonderful friend at Reprise nonschalantly says to me "Do you want to meet Serj?" I replied with..."Well Fu$% Yeah!!!"

 We walked through the tunnels of the Stadium, and 2 or 3 winners from another radio station were already waiting. We stood outside Serj's dressing room and he materialized and began meeting people.

 Now, if you ever listen to System Of A Down, or Serj's solo tunage, you will probably pick up on the hint of rage he expresses through song. This might lead you to being frightened for your life when meeting someone who is that pissed! Serj wasn't like that at all. He was very friendly and it was in a manner that everyone could tell, was sincere. I talked with him for about 5 minutes. I told him that I thought his solo record (which radio was ignoring) was well done, and prophetically written! He was genuinely thankful for my praise.

 Later that day we watched him perform his song "Lie, Lie, Lie." Serj was amazing, Disturbed was great, and STP brought down the stadium. The night ended up as one of the greatest experiences of my entire career, in the music industry!
