This story is a little different than most. In this case, I acted as the celebrity in which others were able to encounter. When I was 16, I went to the Avril Lavigne concert in Montreal. It was my friend's birthday, and as a gift, her mother paid for the concert tickets and for a limo ride to take us there. As we apporached the arena, we saw the intense line-up of fans waiting to get inside. We started to noticed that people were staring and pointing at us in the limo. We realised that people must think we were Avril!

I decided to play along. My hair is naturally straight, dirty blonde, and really long, and I always wore it the way Avril did at the time she started out. I decided to roll down the window half-way, and just let my hair show a bit. At that point, people started believing I was Avril. People ran up to the Limo and started attacking it. They were screaming, and fighting, and taking pictures of my hair through the window. The securty at the arena had to come and get everyone away so we could safely drive away. We managed to exit the limo away from the line, so no one found out that I wasn't Avril.

It was fun playing celebrity for a day! I'm glad a got to provide a celebrity encounter story for hundreds of people.
