Growing up you always have that one actor/actress or entertainer that you have a crush on. Well mine was none other than Billy Dee Williams. He was so smooth to me. He had major sex appeal. And still do this day he does.

When I heard that he was doing a play in Chicago I got really excited because I had a feeling he would be coming to the station to promote it and he did. When I first saw him I thought he was still very handsome and still had some sex appeal. Of course I had to think of something to say witty to break the ice. So, I figured I would use a famous line from Lady Sings the Blues  (a movie of his). In the movie he extends his arm to shake Diana Ross's hand and she is so mesmorized by him she leaves his hand hanging, thus, the line- "Are you going to let my arm fall off?

So here goes nothing...."Are you going to let my arm fall off?, I said and chuckled. And if looks could kill I would be dead as a doorknob!! He looked so not impressed! I just wanted to crawl under the table and die! Talk about embarrassed!! Lesson learned! Never and I mean Never use a movie line with a actor whose a legend. They've heard it a million times!  Guess I won't be trying that one ever again.
